Wwi German Uboat Captain Joris Sterling Cigarette CaseGreat and rare estate find you are bidding no two gifts given to german u-boat captain joseph joris by his men on christmas 1914, a solid silver (165 gr. ) cigarette case ( 4 x 3βΌ ) and a solid silver (145 gr.
) small cigar case ( 5 x 2 ) both have silver hallmarks. All the men's name that were under captain joris command on the u-boat including joris are on the back cover of the cigarette case, as i was told by the estate people. Front cover shows in gold letters iii. Tb. iDvision 1914 1915 s. M. Tb. 77 t. Inside the cigar case weihnachten 1914 and inscription as shown on photo. According to the estate people, it is the boats that were sunk by this u-boat. These two rare cases would enhance any wwi collection. To know more about wwi german u-boats, go on google.
